Defibrillator - Every Second Counts

Sudden cardiac arrest is the most common cause of death in Germany. In approximately 50% of cases, ventricular fibrillation occurs initially, which can be corrected into a normal rhythm through defibrillation. According to experts, the probability of survival decreases by up to 10 percent with every minute that passes during ventricular fibrillation. That's why we have decided to acquire a defibrillator. Fifteen employees from various departments have been trained on the device to be able to provide first aid quickly in case of an emergency until the arrival of the paramedics.
